Better pre-rendering progress notification

Currently, user’s do not receive any visual feedback while pre-rendering is happening. Due to bugs and inefficiencies in the LSM Runtime, pre-rendering may take up to a minute for some runs. It’s essential that users are informed of pre-rendering occurring as soon as it starts.
